- STEP 2: Purchase the paperback version.
- STEP 3: Watch the book’s Bestsellers Rank improve. Where’s the Bestsellers Rank located? On the Amazon listing, beneath PRODUCT DETAILS. Look for “Amazon Bestsellers Rank,” followed by a number.
Amazon.com assigns a “Bestsellers Rank,” formerly known as a “Sales Rank,” to each book that has sold at least one copy. Amazon seems to update the Bestsellers Rank hourly. Many books rank somewhere around #1,000,000 to #3,000,000. It’s important for new releases to climb the Amazon charts early on in order to gain attention; hence the reason for this Blitz. As long as paperback copies of Sands of Sanibel: Book One sell around the same hour–8 p.m. ET–on the same day–8/18/11–the book’s Bestsellers Rank should dramatically improve, making the paperback an official “bestseller” in one or more categories. At that point, Donna Raye would officially become an “Amazon.com bestselling author.” If enough copies are sold, the paperback could even land on the Amazon Top 100 in Books, which would make Sands of Sanibel immediately known all across the nation!
